Kobe Rokko Railway Co., Ltd. (Head office: Nada-ku, Kobe City; President: Naoya Kawabe) has been carrying out vehicle renewal work and station facility renovation work on the Rokko Cable Car over two phases over two years since 2025, with the aim of improving safety and service. Due to the implementation of the second phase of construction, the Rokko Cable Car (between Rokko Cable Shita Station and Rokko Sanjo Station) was suspended from January 5, 2026 (Monday), and substitute transportation by bus was provided.
