Arima Onsen is a hot spring resort in Arima-cho, Kita-ku, Kobe, located at the northern foot of Rokko (approximately 400m above sea level), home to three famous springs in Japan and Japan.
The route from Kobe city to Arima Onsen, which crosses Mount Rokko and leads to Arima Onsen since ancient times, has been used by many travelers as the Arima Road to Arima Onsen.

In modern times, the Rokkoetsu Arima Railway and the current Kobe Rokko Railway were opened in 1932 with the aim of direct operation to Arima Onsen over Rokko by cable cars (now Hanshin Mikage - Rokko Cable Shimo Station - Arima Onsen). Our ancestors' dreams of direct driving were not fulfilled, but even now, more than 90 years later, some of them remain as the Kobe Rokko Railway Rokko Cable Line, and are still being carried over as the modern Arima Michi.

but please feel free to take advantage of the modern Arima Road - Kobe Rokkoetsu Arima route
